Where and When are you moving?
GentleHands is relocating the first week of April 2025 to the Four Oaks Plaza at 4500 W Shannon Lakes Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32309. This new location will allow us to expand our space, include lots of cool new things, expand our class options, and move closer to where a large amount of our families are traveling from to see us. We are planning on a seamless transition with only a few days closed while we move. Moving day is March 30th and we may be ready as fast as a couple days later to start with hosting our members in the new location.
How is my membership effected?
We plan to reopen to members before anyone else so you only miss a few days of play time. Your membership will continue to work at the new location with all of the same systems. As we prepare new classes and options for the new space we may be restructuring our pricing. All membership plans purchased before February 28th will be locked in “Classic” mode to preserve your current pricing for the length of your membership (either when your 3 month or annual membership end or if you stop a monthly subscription).
How is my party affected?
We will be moving during the week in between parties so there should be no interruption in birthday parties. If you are booked for April 2025 or later you will be in our new space. We will have even more space for seating, playing, and having fun! The same great decorations and service will continue. Our party capacity will remain the same with the option to add additional capacity and staffing should you need it.
What new things are you planning?
We are still working to finalize details and get quotes for the renovation but you can expect our facility to keep a focus on open ended and inclusive play. We will be expanding our imagination areas to create a vet office room, a market room, as a pretend restaurant/cafe area. We are also planning to reconfigure and expand our play set as well as add new fixtures and a science room. Some of these items come down to budget and if you are excited about the prospect of these new things, we encourage you to buy a membership at the best price they will be again this February for our 5 year anniversary sale.
